Joburg Gay Pride 2008
Joburg Pride 2008 takes to the streets of Johannesburg in October with the colourful float parade on Saturday 4th October at Zoo Lake. The theme for the 2008 festival is Love, Not Hate and this message will be central to all of the festivities. The musical adaptation of the record-breaking box office hit movie, The Full Monty, will run at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre from 12th September - 12th October 2008.The Cape Town run of the show was highly acclaimed.
The South African cast features Steven Hicks, Tiaan Rautenbach, Mike Huff, Clinton Hawkes, Shaun Murphy and Thokozani Nzima. Bookings are through Computicket and more info can be seen on the website. Tickets from R190,00.
